Zinc Oxide Nanoparticle Reinforced Waste Buffing Dust Based Composite Insole and Its Antimicrobial Activity

The objective of this research is to use zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) combined with buffing dust develop footwear insole antibacterial properties. In addition, performance analysis (mechanical, chemical, and thermal) fabricated also the integral consideration study. With such aim, antimicrobial composite insoles were via simple solution mixing ZnONPs natural rubber latex (NRL) binder along dusts optimum ratio. Then, removal water was considered by mechanical pressing followed drying in sunlight. chemical bonding material interactions composites investigated using FT-IR XRD, respectively. TGA confirmed thermal stability composites, while SEM OTR are elucidating surface morphology gas barrier properties, Tensile strength, elongation, flexibility, hardness, absorption prepared NRL content increased 39, 31, 30, 38, 28%, Finally, 78% achieved against suspension ( 1.5 × 10 6 CFU / mL ) bacterial strain Staphylococcus aureus.
